The British White Cattle Association of America was incorporated as an Iowa Non Profit Corporation on December 16, 1987 as Iowa Corporation #119073. The leadership consisted of former members of the White Park Cattle Association of America, an Iowa Non Profit Corporation #64755 that was incorporated on October 23, 1975.
In 1998 a group representing the White Park Cattle Association of America formed a new Iowa Non Profit Corporation # 225813 titled American British White Park Association, INC.
On July 29, 1999 the White Park Cattle Association of America filed Articles of Merger under certificate #W00216275 stating it was merged into the American British White Park association, Inc.
Anyone wanting to do more research can do so through the Iowa Secretary of State office website at https://sos.iowa.gov/. The UK is the country of origin for the British White Breed of cattle. It first came into being in 1946 per the British White Cattle Society Website where it is stated; “In 1946 the two forms of Park Cattle, Horned and Polled decided to split and administer their own affairs, and thus the British White Cattle Society evolved.”
In a way it seems that history repeated itself in the USA when the British White Cattle Association of America was formed.
